Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") set forth the general terms and conditions for your use of the Funvite mobile application ("Mobile Application" or "Service") and any related products and services (collectively, the "Services"). This Agreement is legally binding between you ("User," "you," or "your") and SoDuo Connections Corporation ("Funvite," "we," "us," or "our").
If you are entering into this Agreement on behalf of a business or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to this Agreement. If you do not have such authority, or if you do not agree with these terms, you must not accept this Agreement and may not access or use the Mobile Application or Services.
By accessing or using the Mobile Application and Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Agreement. You further acknowledge that this Agreement is a contract between you and Funvite, even though it is electronic and not physically signed by you.
1. Accounts and Membership
You must be at least 18 years old to use Funvite. By using Funvite, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.
If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining its security and for all activity that occurs under your account.
Providing false or misleading information may result in termination of your account.
You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or security breaches.
We may suspend, disable, or delete accounts that violate this Agreement or harm our reputation. Deleted accounts may not be re-registered.
2. User Content
You retain ownership of all content ("Content") you submit through Funvite.
You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and rights to any Content you submit.
By using Funvite, you grant us permission to access, store, transmit, and display your Content only as needed to provide our Services.
We may remove any Content we determine violates this Agreement or is harmful or objectionable.
3. Billing and Payments
You agree to pay all fees in accordance with our pricing and billing terms.
If auto-renewal is enabled, your subscription will renew automatically.
All payment data is processed securely using SSL encryption and PCI-compliant practices.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, limit quantities, or request verification for high-risk transactions.
4. Accuracy of Information
Funvite may occasionally contain errors, inaccuracies, or omissions (e.g., event descriptions, pricing).
We reserve the right to correct these errors without prior notice.
5. Backups
We perform regular backups but cannot guarantee no data loss. In the event of an issue, we will restore backups when possible.
6. Advertisements
You may interact with advertisers or sponsors through Funvite. Any correspondence or transactions are solely between you and the third party.
7. Links to Other Resources
Funvite may link to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, actions, or offerings of these third parties.
8. Your Content – Prohibited Material
You may not post or link to content that:
Is offensive, obscene, pornographic, threatening, defamatory, or unlawful.
Promotes hate, discrimination, violence, or harassment.
Infringes on intellectual property rights.
Exploits or endangers individuals.
Contains viruses or harmful code.
Violates privacy or impersonates others.
Promotes illegal activities or unauthorized advertising.
9. Community Guidelines
Funvite is built on trust and authentic connections.
1. Authenticity
Only real people, real events, and truthful profiles are allowed.
Fake profiles or misrepresentation will result in a permanent ban.
2. Respect and Consent
Participation is always optional.
Respect boundaries and privacy.
3. Event Conduct
Show up if you RSVP.
Cancel in advance if needed.
4. Safety
No harassment, abuse, or unsolicited content.
Report unsafe behavior immediately.
5. Communication
Keep it respectful and relevant.
No spam or unauthorized promotions.
6. Event Creation and Hosting
Provide clear, accurate descriptions.
Honor commitments as a host.
7. Content and Discussions
No hate speech, illegal activity, or copyright violations.
Keep it positive and constructive.
10. Zero Tolerance Policy
Funvite has a zero tolerance policy for:
Hate speech or discriminatory content.
Harassment or threats.
Sexually explicit or pornographic material.
Misinformation intended to deceive.
Copyright violations.
Content that promotes self-harm or violence.
Violations may result in immediate account suspension or permanent banning.
11. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to:
Use Funvite for unlawful purposes.
Harass, abuse, or discriminate against others.
Upload viruses or malicious code.
Create fake events or misrepresent attendance.
Engage in unauthorized commercial activity.
Collect user information without consent.
12. Intellectual Property
All trademarks, logos, and graphics associated with Funvite are our property. Your use of Funvite does not grant you ownership or a license to our intellectual property.
13. Disclaimer of Warranty
Funvite is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Funvite will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability will not exceed the greater of $1 or the amount paid by you in the 30 days prior to the claim.
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Funvite and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or costs arising from your use of Funvite.
16. Severability
If any provision of this Agreement is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
17. Dispute Resolution
This Agreement is governed by the laws of Virginia, USA. All disputes will be resolved in the courts of Virginia. You waive any right to a jury trial.
18. Assignment
You may not transfer your rights or obligations under this Agreement without our consent. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction.
19. Changes and Amendments
We may update this Agreement at any time. Updates will be effective immediately upon posting, unless otherwise specified.
20. Acceptance of Terms
By using Funvite, you agree to this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not use Funvite.
